We take the protection of your personal data seriously. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the rights you have under the GDPR (DSGVO).

2. Data we process

  • Contact & application forms: the name, email, company, jurisdiction, and message you submit voluntarily.
  • Newsletter: your email address, if you subscribe.
  • Server logs: your browser/device may transmit an IP address and technical metadata to our hosting provider when loading pages.

3. Purposes & legal basis

  • Responding to your enquiry and providing our services — Art. 6 (1)(b) GDPR (steps prior to a contract) and Art. 6 (1)(a) GDPR (consent).
  • Sending the monthly briefing — Art. 6 (1)(a) GDPR (consent); you can unsubscribe at any time.
  • Operating and securing the website — Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a functioning, secure site).

4. Hosting & processors

This site is hosted on Vercel. Form submissions are delivered by email through Resend. These providers act as processors under data-processing agreements (Art. 28 GDPR). Web fonts are self-hosted and served from our own infrastructure — no request is made to Google Fonts.

TODO: if any processor stores data outside the EU/EEA (e.g. US), confirm the transfer safeguard (EU Standard Contractual Clauses / Data Privacy Framework) and name it here.

5. Cookies & analytics

By default this website uses only technically necessary storage. Your consent choice itself is saved in your browser's local storage (key "wc-consent") so the banner doesn't reappear on every visit; this is necessary under § 25(2) TDDDG and requires no consent.

Analytics and other non-essential tools (for example Google Analytics) are loaded only after you click "Accept all" in the consent banner (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 25(1) TDDDG). If you choose "Only necessary", nothing is loaded. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time via "Cookie settings" in the footer; withdrawal does not affect processing carried out before it.

TODO: when an analytics or advertising tool is switched on, name the provider, the data it collects, storage duration and any transfer outside the EU/EEA here.

6. Retention

We keep enquiry data only as long as necessary to handle your request and to meet statutory retention obligations (e.g. commercial and tax law). Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

  • access your data (Art. 15), and to rectification (Art. 16) or erasure (Art. 17);
  • restriction of processing (Art. 18) and data portability (Art. 20);
  • object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21);
  • withdraw consent at any time with future effect (Art. 7 (3));
  • lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77).
